Together We Can Save Goodmayes Library

Goodmayes Library was opened in 1990 to provice library services to the people of Goodmayes and the surrounding area in a modern, attractive building with full disability access and with on site parking. For 20 years it has built up a strong custom and huge loyalty, providg book, music and DVD loans/ study space/ access to daily newspapers/ access ot PCs for those with no computer at home/ study space and a strong sense of community Now, though, we discover Goodmayes library is under urgent threat as the Council looks to close it completely and redirect all services to the tiny and temporary Seven Kings branch on the High Road. The SaveGoodmayesLibrary campaign is a broad alliance set up to stop this poorly considered and vindictive proposal now And we need your help What can I do? · sign the petition, you can contribute to it online using this link: http://www.PetitionOnline.com/1346/petition.html · wear a campaign sticker · write to the Council leader and cabinet member for libraries opposing the closure · Their addresses are below Cllr Suzanne Nolan
